| I got to see Dethklok in concert last Saturday, and I'm glad I was able. It was a fun show. Wait, scratch that. It was BRUTAAAAAAL. Never once until the end did they introduce themselves as to keep the illusion of the fictional band on stage. It was really good live. The music was all done perfectly down to the most intricate solo. All the while video was playing up on the screen of the cartoon in the form of music videos and whatnot. They had extended videos of a lot of them played on the show, such as the one for Thunderhorse. I think two of my favorites were Murmaider and Dethharmonic. We were also visited a couple times by Facebones who taught us about Mosh Pit Ethics and such things. I had a great time.
And afterwards Schroeder, his brother, Spencer's brother, and I went to the Hard Rock Cafe across the street. The rest of the weekend was on par with this. I got to spend time with my family, I saw the Incredible Hulk again (which if you haven't seen, and you've seen the first attempt, you owe it to yourself to see this one), and we went as a family to an Italian restaurant called Buca di Beppo. It was pretty delicious and a fun time. I also got to see my friends Jacob and Shaun among others (Shelby, Kellie, Stephanie, and 2 I didn't know). I had a good time overall. No real drawbacks. Maybe things are starting to normalize for me down there. Or maybe I was just thoroughly distracted.

| Seems as if it's official. I'll be going to Oregon from the 9th of July to the 23rd. I'm excited and a little nervous, basically because of the financial toll it's going to take on me. But I think, in the end, it will be worth it. I don't know what to expect yet as per what I will do while I'm there, though I foresee spending a lot of time with Bettina, as she will be my hostess during my stay. I'm quite excited to visit someplace new and see a friend I haven't seen in nearly a year.

| I've decided I'm going to start using xanga again. Even if it seems as if it has tried to absorb the qualities of all the other major social network sites, it still focuses on the blogging aspect and not so much pictures and random applications, quizzes, spam, etc.

| I saw Sweeney Todd finally last night. I really liked it a lot. The music is really good, and I've always been a fan of Tim Burton's style. If you have the chance to see it, you should.

| For how many people claim to be full-blooded Norwegian around here, there are a serious lack of metal bands.
